Microsoft has created a new tool, Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA), the common security configuration errors are designed to analyze Windows systems.
MBSA, Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems that run on the following products fixes a vulnerability scans are missing: Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0 and 5.0, 7.0 and SQL Server 2000, Internet Explorer (IE ) 5.01 and above and Office 2000 and XP.
